What is that?

SRA is a Designation issued by The Appraisal Institute in Chicago, IL. Fewer than 1% of all appraisers nationwide have achieved the SRA Designation. Their primary focus is on residential real estate appraisal. To obtain the SRA, an appraiser must have more education and experience than a “typical” licensed or certified appraiser. A Licensed or Certified appraiser holds the minimum requirements of certification, while the SRA or MAI designated appraisers are at the top of the appraiser’s hierarchy.
